These online courses covering multi-systems of support from tier 1 to 3 help participants develop skills and strategies, obtain information and resources, and improve their understanding of student well-being, school attendance and engagement challenges, disability inclusion and human rights, school stress and trauma responses, and the importance of whole school approaches.

School Attendance Challenges online course

School-Wide Strategies to Support Students with School Attendance Challenges equips school communities to respond to attendance challenges as complex, often distress-based barriers to education - intersecting with mental health, disability, trauma, systemic inequities, and school climate. Grounded in human rights and accessibility, the course shifts practice from blame and punishment to empathy, curiosity, and collaborative, student-centered planning - using a whole-school, multi-tiered lens (MTSS) to prevent escalation, strengthen belonging and safety, and build sustainable pathways back to learning through flexible accommodations, data-informed support, and "tiny steps" re-engagement.
